जिसने बचपन में माता की लोरी न सुनी,
जिसकी रातों में सन्नाटा ही बोला,
जिसकी आंखों ने आंचल का साया न देखा,
उसका मन कब किस मोड़ पे डोला?

जिसके हिस्से न आई वो रोटी,
जो प्रेम से गाते हुए पकती है,
जिसके घर में धुएँ से ज़्यादा,
खामोशी हर रोज़ सिसकती है—

---

वो राक्षस बने तो अचरज कैसा?
या फिर विरक्त साधु बन जाए,
बीच का रास्ता मुश्किल होता,
मन या तो जलता है, या बुझ जाए।

---

“मत खाओ…” कोई भीतर से बोले,
“नज़र लगी है इस जीवन को…”
देवी कृपा भी उसी पे बरसे,
जो पहचान सके अपने मन को।

जिसे न मिला माँ का कोमल स्पर्श,
उसके आगे दो ही राहें हैं—
या तो कठोरता ओढ़े दुनिया से लड़े,
या हिमालय की बाहों में समा जाए।

हमने भी उस प्रेम की खातिर,
सब कुछ पीछे छोड़ दिया,
रोटी, चूल्हा, घर का शोर—
सब त्याग कर मौन जोड़ लिया।

कभी था जीवन सजा-संवरा,
कुकिंग रेंज और जगमग घर,
आज तंदूर की आग में ढूंढें,
एक सादा सा अपना सफर।

अब सीख लिया है धीरे-धीरे,
हवा और पानी में भी रस है,
हिमालय की गोद में बैठा,
मन ही असली रसोईघर है।
