Sharanye Tryambake – A Shloka of Strength, Clarity, and Collective Vision

Sharanye Tryambake – A Shloka of Strength, Clarity, and Collective Vision

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणी नमोऽस्तुते ॥

Translation

“O Narayani, you are the embodiment of all auspiciousness, the fulfiller of all objectives, the source of refuge, and the three-eyed Gauri. I bow to you.”

Purpose of the Shloka in a Group Motivation Session

This powerful verse invokes qualities that are essential both for individual growth and societal wellbeing:

  • “Sarva Mangala Maangalye” – The one who brings the highest form of good fortune, signaling positivity and collective well-being.
  • “Shive Sarvartha Saadhike” – The one who helps achieve all meaningful purposes — aligned with goal-setting and action planning.
  • “Sharanye” – The ultimate refuge, symbolizing safety, trust, and unity in a team or community.
  • “Tryambake” – The three-eyed goddess, representing vision, insight, and the wisdom to go beyond the obvious.

The Threefold Path of “Tryambake”

The title “Tryambake” (three-eyed one) is not just a symbol of divine power, but also a representation of a threefold path — critical for both personal transformation and the upliftment of human society:

  1. 1. Jnana (Wisdom): Clarity of thought, deeper awareness, and the ability to understand the long-term impact of actions.
  2. 2. Karma (Purposeful Action): Taking meaningful steps aligned with one’s values and group objectives.
  3. 3. Bhakti (Compassionate Unity): Creating emotional bonds, trust, and selfless collaboration within the community.

When a group embodies this triad, it moves with clarity, impact, and integrity — elevating not just individuals, but the collective whole.

Conclusion

Beginning a group motivation session with this shloka is a reminder of the power we hold when we unite wisdom, action, and compassion. It helps build not just capable individuals, but a conscious and connected society.
