🕯️ Navratri Is On, Friends — Dussehra Is Yet to Come

🕯️ Navratri Is On, Friends — Dussehra Is Yet to Come

The 13th day of this demon shall arrive. Then shall rise the full moon of truth.
— By Akshat Agrawal

"Navratri is on, my friends... Dussehra is yet to come."
"The thirteenth day shall witness the funeral of the demon... and then, the full moon shall rise."

In the calendar of consciousness, Navratri is not merely a festival.
It is a nine-day awakening, a war cry from the soul,
A call to align ourselves with truth (satya), inner strength (shakti), and fearless action (karma).

Yet in today’s world, where slogans replace scriptures and spectacle masks spirit,
we must ask—

🕵️‍♂️ What demon are we battling this time?
Is it outside, wearing saffron and steel?
Or is it within—silent, complicit, afraid?

🔱 The Metaphor of the 13th Day

In many Indian traditions, the 13th day marks the final rites—the closure of the earthly illusion.
This "terahvin" (13th day), poetically speaking, will not come for the individual alone…
It must arrive for the collective evil masquerading as nationalism,
for the manipulative voices dressed as anchors,
for the systemic deceit that sells us patriotism but delivers propaganda.

Yes, this demon too shall fall—not by sword, but by self-purification.
And when it does,

The full moon—symbol of Purnima, of completion, illumination, and peace—
shall rise again over a nation once called "Bharat Mata".

🌕 Wait for the Full Moon

The truth is like the moon—
You may not always see it in its fullness,
But it is always there.

The rising of the Purnima moon shall mark a return to light,
Where Dussehra will no longer be theatre,
But victory of inner Dharma over outer darkness.

🚩 What Should We Do Now?

  1. Fast not from food—but from fear.
  2. Worship not idols—but ideals.
  3. Light not firecrackers—but the lamp of discernment.
  4. Slay not Ravana outside—but the arrogance within.

Let us prepare for a real Dussehra,
where the burning of effigies isn’t symbolic—
but reflective of the burning away of ignorance
that we have tolerated too long.

Let this Navratri be your vow.
Let Dussehra be your stand.
Let Purnima be your light.

🕊️ The demon will have its 13th day.
🌕 The moon shall rise again.
🇮🇳 And the soul of this land shall breathe once more.
